Something I found out while I should be doing something else...
I don't know if this is as accurate as it purports to be, but apparently men's brains hear speech in a very different way than women's.
The part of the male brain that hears women's speech is the one that is designed for music. Everything we take in, guys, is nothing but frequencies and harmony. We don't have the ability to hear a woman talking in the same way that women hear men talking, so it is harder for us.
But we guys can hear each other because we use another part of the brain... The pinneal eye, or mind's eye. It's a part that relates things to one's self. So we hear the other man as if he is the same as us.
Sounds pretty strange, huh? Not really. Perhaps men are meant to use these things to make music healing... Maybe men are this sensitive toward the musical side of sound because we are responsible for making music into a tool... a practical, therapeutic entity.
Not sure. No reason to bring it up, really... just wanted it out there...
