booooooooooooooooooo sick
So I've been on sick days since Tuesday.
I woke up Tuesday with a soar throat. With lack of motivation to go to work I used it as an excuse not to go to work. Well as the day progressed it got worse and worse and I felt like the usual bronchitis is coming back.
Except I wake up monday morning and I can't fucking move, I literally almost wailed my head on my desk when I got up to turn on my alarm because I couldn't support my bodyweight. So I got on the phone with my doctor and got an appointment for 9:30 am. Props to my roomie Ryan who drove me there because I had no mommy to do so.
Apparently it is just a 'bad flu' though I didn't puke at all and it felt like I had tonsillitis. So the bitch doctor told me just take motrin and drink liquids, I basically had to bed for cough meds so I don't keep my roomies awake. I spent all of wednesday in bed, alllllllllllllllllll of wednesday. Thursday I was feeling a bit better, stayed in bed till about 3 pm. got up and did some productive things for work for a few hours and then went back to bed.
This morning I felt like a million bucks compared to Wednesday, the only thing aling me at this point was a soar throat. So I get up, take a much needed shower, and make my way to work. Everything is fine and dandy until I'm about 1/2 a mile away from the freeway exit to my job. I ended up pulling over on the exit and puking my loverly guts out on the side of the road :( mind you, this is the first time I puked due to this 'flu'
So I go into work for about half an hour, get some stuff done and head on my way home. took an hour and a half because of traffic into the city and I had to pull over twice to expel bile out mah stomach. So, here I am, about to go back to bed.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... life
is it bad the thing that pisses me off the most about this bought of sickness that I missed 4 days of work. I still get paid for them, but 4 days I could have been productive are now lost. poop :(
