Fifth Performance

[Those of you walking by 1488 Kramden Road may see a small crowd gathered around Coquelicot, who's standing on a crate and wielding a variety of props. There are brief flashes of razzle-dazzle, the occasional cloud of confetti, and even a few doves flitting into the sky, and the crowd applauds every now and then as she unleashes trick after trick

[Ema is just standing there and munching. Ignoring the request for now.]

[Oh lord it's that crazy girl who nearly pegged her in the head with a CD.]

[... well, at least Ema's munching is doing a good job of filling the awkward silence of none of the soulless, empty-eyed drones volunteering.]

A-Anyone?

[luminols]

[Still munching. Until no one really volunteers, so she raises her hand. Though, she looks rather unamused anyway.]

What do I have to do? [Munch, munch, munch]

Ah... thanks for volunteering! Don't worry, it won't be anything too hard- are you familiar with the ball-and-cup trick?

... The ball-and-cup trick?

Yup! Just to start things off.

[And the cups come out again, which she places onto the crate in front of her. After a moment, she pulls a ball out of her pocket and holds it up for Ema and the audience to see.]

I place the ball under one of the cups- [clop- it goes under the leftmost cup]- swap the cups around like so- [shuffle shuffle shuffle shuffle]- and then it's up to you to guess which cup it's under!

[If Ema's been following Coquelicot's motions, the ball SHOULD be under the cup in the middle now.]
