update - in case you care

Had an overall good week.

I am still sufferring from the plague. Which this week is walking pneumonia, apparently. SO I am now on my third round of antibiotics, after they finally got the culture they took last week back and went Oops, the other antibiotics that have completely screwed your system and made you more miserable do nothing for this bug. Argh.

But, on the other hand, had my final presentation for my Global Business class and fucking rocked it. Especially with my ability to name all the goddamn french contract laws regarding hiring part-time workers. My teacher was really blown away that I had taken the time to go over to my company's law library and get ahold of several French and EU contract law books and then figure out what codes applied. So my complete panicking that I didn't understand it well enough was totally unjustified, so that was good.

I now have a 4.0 gpa with over half of this semester's credits in. Keep this up and I just might be able to get into grad school.

The kids are doing well. Liam is getting more and more grown up by the day, which is both sad and yet extremely gratifying to know that I haven't fucked him up (yet).

Charlie is currently very obsessed with the kid's show Charlie and Lola. It is adorable. he loves how the charlie on that show is the big brother. And also that he wears a shirt that says "charlie" which is the only word that little charlie can recognize, although he now has all his letters down. We are still working on the sounds they make, but he's all good.

We had pumpkin carving bonanza this weekend. This involved Liam drawing things and me trying to interprete them on a pumpkin with a dull knife = hilarious results. For instance, the darth vader that every one over the age of 35 seems to think is someone I've never heard of from a tv show from the 60's. But hey, it's impressive to me that it is recognizable as anything.

Also, i bought lots of sweaters for the boys, because sweaters are good when it is chilly. And it makes them cuddly, which is good because on a chilly fall day there is nothing like making hot cider and cuddling two adorable little boo's in adorable little sweaters. And then running around til all the cheeks turn pink. Soooo cute.

That's about it. Should do this more often. :)
