I absolutely adore you. JSYK. Thank you!!

I agree that Gwen's ego is quite substantial, I think after having her hero who she harbours a lingering attraction, desire, I'd even go so far as to say she's a little in love with Jack and what he represents, after having him tell her that there is no chance for them, that every action she clung to as hope was nothing more than his normal behaviour with everyone and he was in love with someone else, one of her friends and colleagues... Who then takes her to task for her behaviour?

I think there's a limit for even Gwen in one day. :)

I don't know. You know the saying "Ignorance has no bounds"? Pretty sure I know who that was written for. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't get it into her head sometime in the future that it could still work with her and Jack. If anything were to happen to Ianto, God forbid, I think she'd drop Rhys in nothing flat.

However, since this wonderful little series is, sadly, at an end, you can now concentrate on your BB story, which I am already chopping at the bit to read. Of course, I wouldn't be upset if you needed to take a small break from that and just jot down a little ditty from time to time. Just saying.

Oh I'll be still doing other one offs in between writing Big Bang, otherwise I'd go insane.

I think you're right, she's always harbour some tiny bit of hope that she and Jack will be together if and when Ianto and Jack are no longer together. Poor Rhys. :(

Yes, because insanity is SO overrated! Mawahaha! You might even scare the cat. But, then, I have three and it IS so much fun.

I think insanity runs rampant in our house actually now that I think about it. But that's okay! A little insanity never hurt anyone really. :D

Yay for one offs! You write 'em, I'll read 'em!

Exactly. I've always felt sorry for Rhys, the way he's so in love with her and she just takes him for granted. She cares about him when it's convenient or she needs to throw him up in the others faces. I also think if something happened to him she'd go back after Jack, Ianto or no.

I know right? I love how Rhys takes her to task in Adrift and tells her off. God I love that scene. I watched it over and over.

I guess everyone has their breaking point, even dear, kind-hearted Rhys. I do love it when he finally gets fed up with her shit and throws some back at her.
