This was gorgeous. I LOVE where you took Jack. the emotion, the grief, the sheer utter sadness of his loss.

Really glad I stayed up and hit the refresh button one more time to make sure I didn't miss anything. This was awesome! The feelings pouring from Jack and Rhiannon, Jack not giving up on finding Ianto, the heartbreak of the "cleansing" ritual he went through to help him survive each day. A bit suspicious of the Doctor looking for Jack and taking him to the academy to teach. Seems maybe he knew something he wasn't telling? Loved the whole story and would be thrilled if you should decide to continue it. Like starting with a phone call to a certain Doctor and everything that comes after. Just saying.

I love this even more than the original!! I loved the extra chapters about how Jack found Ianto, and how he spent his time on Earth... the memorial was oh-so sad but the last chapter and the epilogue were just like 'YAY!!' :) loved it xx
