I just found out
through this interview while I browsing through Tumblr that Sylvester McCoy (the Seventh Doctor) has been cast as the wizard Radagast the Brown in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit.
My reaction?
WHUTTHE-ZOMFGWHAT'STHISIDON'T EVEN-
Or that he was originally cast as Bilbo Baggins in the LOTR trilogy.
Or that he has worked with / is friends with Ian McKellen.
SIR IAN MCKELLEN.
AS IN MOTHERFUCKIN' GANDALF THE GRAY / WHITE.
It doesn't help either that I'm hyped up on Red Bull ATM, while studying for a big ass Modern Poetry exam for tomorrow that I've barely started.
NOW I HAVE TO READ THE HOBBIT BEFORE THE MOVIE COMES OUT.
THERE ARE NO EXCUSES NOW.
THE POWER OF SEVEN / MCCOY COMMANDS ME TO DO SO.
MAKE US CRAZY, OBSESSED NERDS PROUD, MCCOY.
(Oh, and Peter Jackson too. You're just as awesome as well.)
*Time to cram my ass off now until 2 am for an exam starting at 9am. Wish me luck.*
*Also wondering now if my grandparents still have my dad's old copy of the book at their place...*
