Last night was the peak of the Quadrantid meteor shower, named after an obsolete constellation. Given how they're described as being visible to the north and east, near the horizon, given standard mapmakers conventions, I'd say they're in the first quadrant.... (I tried for something about projected paths and equations, but failed. Anyone?)
There are at least half a dozen different kinds of orange juice in the supermarket (a range of pulp level, added calcium, and so on), but just plain grapefruit juice. It's just 2 g of sugar less per serving; are there really so many fewer people interested in varieties of grapefruit juice?
Someone who really likes sleeping on mattresses: bedophile.
Still impressed by British TV, including current shows Misfits (delinquents with specific super powers; mayhem ensues) and Mongrels (animal puppets, adult themes, also musical numbers). Also, USian Portlandia is wonderfully strange.
