Hey, My name is Vanessa and about a week ago I started a craft experiment called Craft Promo. Basically all we do is provide free advertising for crafty online shops. So far we are doing pretty great. We have 15 contributors and i have sent out 15 packages of other peoples online goodies. I would like to extend an invitation to you to try us out. If you dont want to try it, that is completely fine with me. I just thought I would let you know, as others have said we have brought alot of traffic to their sites :). For more information please go to:
They were copying the Sampler and spreading untrue rumors about Marie, who runs the Sampler -- saying she was taking people's money and ripping people off, among other things. Anyone who tried to reason with this Vanessa person to straigten things out got responses full of B.S. and self-contradictory nonsense. She talked herself into a corner and then deleted all those unkind/false things she said -- and then claimed that the Sampler people "attacked" her. So now that the evidence is gone, nobody else can see how badly she behaved.
To make a really long story short, I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. They're unprofessional, immature, and dishonest.
If you want to send in Samples to a more trustworthy operation, go with the Sampler. They have better industry contacts, are run by a total pro, and reach a lot more people.
