You need to get out and stop moping. [Pot, meet kettle]

You been doing any of that carving I showed you? I can show you some neat tricks if you want.

Well that's what i'm trying to do, dude.

[He's not huffing though, or at least trying not to.]

Um, no? I'm not very good so i didn't try all that much. I think I'd rather just watch instead of almost cut myself open for an hour or two. Its a little less dangerous.

Come now, you're not that clumsey.

Either way, you need to get out. Get some frustrations out and such.

You know how to use a sling by chance?

Well if i'm not clumsy with a knife i'll probably put my eye out with a sling. I can use a Hammer, thats kind of it.

[Though getting frustration out sounds awesome.]

You think I could just stay in my room and scream into a pillow?

[He rolls his eyes]

Stop making excuses. You need something distracting, and learning new skills is a great way to do that.

You need to get out

Well, okay, I think I'd be better with a knife than a sling. If you wanted to teach me, because i'm positive I'd get myself in the eye with a sling or something.

[He runs a hand through his hair, attempting to make it a little less of a mess.]

That'll get both of us out, how about it?

We teach boys the sling when they've a mere seven years. I'm sure you could handle it. But your choice.

Four walls can be very enclosing. Fresh air will do you good.

[Well if seven year old boys could do it...and it would be nice to have something long range that he could use to fight. Though a sling really didn't sound that threatening, but still!]

Alright, you've convinced me. Do you have a sling I could practice with?

Best thing about slings. They're exceedingly easy to make. I'll bring you one. Though if you find any smallish stones, mostly round and such, bring those.

Meet you at (X,Y)

Sure! I'm on my way and I'll keep an eye out for some round stones.

[He'll probably try and stop by the river on his way over for that very reason.]

See you in a bit.
