Attention all Somariumites!
I was thinking that since the whole sandstorm thing is over, and everybody got out of it in one way or another, that we should throw a little celebration! But I'm really not much of a party planner, so it's more of an event.

A poker game?

Doesn't that sound terribly exciting.

Are you interested in playing? The more people, the merrier!

Then I would be more than pleased to join in~ After all, a little light-hearted play would most certainly lift spirits, would it not?

Great! After all, all work and no play makes the grape juice go sour!

I don't think I caught your name, by the way.

Mm, what a very interesting analogy.

Vincent Nightray, Miss Wright. It's a pleasure.

Hehe, Daddy is a fountain of knowledge!

It's very nice to meet you Mr. Nightray. Have you played poker before?

Of course, Miss Wright. He sounds like quite the wise man.

Mm. It's quite the interesting game, wouldn't you agree? So many different... facets, and layers upon layers of deception. It's really quite fascinating, what the man would do for the sake of victory.

[Trucy couldn't agree more about what people would do for the sake of winning]

Having a good poker face is always a good weapon though. But it's all part luck too, isn't it, Mr. Nightray?

Mm. I suppose it is. To a certain degree. I personally don't believe in luck -- after all, all luck really entails is being prepared enough to take advantage of the opportunity when it presents itself. It is hardly as mystical... or even as magical... as one perhaps would make it out to be.

No?

I guess that is all true, but it really depends on who you talk to.

Mama Edgeworth thinks that Daddy's skill in court is just pure luck sometimes.

Mm. It would all depend on one's perspective... no?

Then he must be a very interesting man. How lucky you are to have such a fascinating father, Miss Wright.

Now, if you don't mind my asking, Miss Wright -- would this fascinating father of yours be... here, by any chance?

Daddy really is an interesting, man. He's lived such an exciting life!

Hmmm? Of course Daddy is! He just got back in fact.

An exciting life? My, not only is he wise, but he is also worldly. Your opinion of him certainly runs high~

... 'Back', was it? I'm afraid I do not follow.

He is my Daddy, I don't think that would be very nice if I didn't.

Well what happened was, Daddy arrived in Somarium but then he left and then he came back!

Very true, Miss Wright.

And a busy man, at that. If you don't mind my asking, Miss Wright, in what manner did you father... leave, this strange world?

[Trucy's body language kind of tenses - she doesn't like talking about it but decides to anyway]

I just woke up one day and Daddy was gone. It was like my disappearing act!
