TOOK HAD BABIES!!!!

We didn't even know she was preggers, because she has always been fat. But out popped two babies today. They are healthy and active, and about the size of rats. Yo-Yo, the dad, is white, and Took is grey. The babies are spotted, like inverse cows. Tiny inverse cows that actually resemble wet puppies. They are so cute. I would post pics but:

1. We didn't take any, and
2. I currently have no software with which to upload pics to the net.

I went to Savannah this weekend with the sibs and Trent to visit Tyler at SCAD, and that was fun and a half. There are too many stories to fit into an LJ post, so there shall be none at all. Er.

I've begun summer school; I'm taking Humanities II online. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, I kinda like it because I can go at my own pace, AKA do a week's workload at once.

I finished Good Omens, which wasn't nearly as good as it was hyped to be. I enjoyed it, definitely, but it was like Discworld but... slow. The most impressive part was that Gaiman and Pratchett literally took turns writing paragraphs of the thing, and I was sure the latter wrote the whole damn book. Now I am reading Winter's Tale, which Eli gave me, and which I've wanted to read for a long time. I've only finished the first couple chapters and already I love it. It actually reminds me a lot of Mess, not in style but in content and mood. Speaking of style, this marks the first time I've been able to explicate exactly what comprises an author's style. (I won't go into it here, though, because that would be boring.) I'm hoping it's because I've read enough books, and not because it's a really superficial writing style.
