Well, here's some good news: I'm not a bum anymore!
I applied to Brandywine's on Tuesday, and today I put in my first day. It really is ridiculously helpful to know someone in the store. Take that Panera, hahahahaha!! For those of you who don't know, I'm speaking of Brandywine's Delicatessen on Park Ave., and Marie is currently employed there. It's pretty sweet; I can goose her while she's at the register. :D
I didn't apply out of need for money, I really just need something to do until summer school in mid-June. All I've had to do until today is work on that ghost story that Dad needs before we leave for Yellowstone. I finished Chapter 3 this morning, so I'm ahead of schedule. It's nice to have an outline to work from. Dad and I worked out the storyline and it's my job to flesh it out (which I LOVE). Because I'm so used to writing historical fiction, I can't help but make every detail accurate to 1864. The Carronade takes place in the same time period, so it's in my area of expertise. And when I've finished with it, I can post it on The Bookshelf!! It will be gloarious with a capital 'a.'
Well, I got my Physics grade in, and that was an A... somehow. :D That puts me at straight A's for this semester! HOORAY CRIED BELL AND BILL WE DO SO LOVE THE ZOO!!!!!
I guess I have some artworkses to post.
Old pic of my wizard, Drem, and his magical sleepwalking goat. (I think I named it Samuel, but I'm not certain.) Anyway, I was experimenting with textures. And Leonardo Da Vinci's handwriting. LOL.
Another wizard. This is concept art (hence the shit factor) for a short miniseries Trent and I are writing. Our male protagonist doesn't have a name yet. Right now we're calling him Pervy Wizard With a Mad Hatter Lisp, and he will be played by Trent. You can tell it's Trent because the eyes are... grey. Well, it will be an expensive costume. The two leading chicks will be wearing street clothes, so we can splurge on Pervy Wizard. (We may name him Pizard or Wervy.) He is a soldier-type wizard chap, hence the altered uniform jacket and army boots.
