When I was at work Saturday, a group of guys came in and one of them said I looked famous and should be in movies. Made my day.
Have to finish (and start) my German project. Yuck.
Have cramps. Yuck.
Have to work five days this week which sort of pisses me off because I'm working 32 hours when I only want to be working 25, max. What with school and all.
Asked for a week off in June. Bastards better give it to me. I need a break from everything.
Apparently, the assistant manager is going to be talking to a coworker of mine because she's fucking up big time. I.e., she's not working. She's a shift lead and at night, when she's supposed to be helping us; she's either talking to someone who came in (her not-bf, bf), her friends, or family, or she's in back on the cell with them. You ask her for some help, she either ignores you or waits forever and by that time it's too late. Luckily, I didn't have to rat her out, I was basically a confirmer and all I did was say 'yes' or nod my head and go 'mm-hm.' She also asked me if the shift leads were going over things with me (because she knew I wanted to be a shift lead) and I tactfully put it, "Some more so than others." I think she should just be demoted and I should be put in her position. Ha. That would fry her cajones.
New guy at work is pretty cute. Looks like a cross between Milo Ventimiglia and Josh from 'Digging for the Truth.' Just a little shorter than either (about my height). And he sings constantly. Not sure if that is a plus or minus. Hmm.
Prof went over my paper, e-mailed it back to me, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. He basically told me it is extremely hard to get an 'A' from him, but if I follow his suggestions I'll have a better paper. Basically, I was being too general and I need to be more specific. Bah. I'm also taking a Mark Twain class from him in the fall, so maybe if I kiss ass a bit he'll write me a good recommendation for grad school. Ah, who am I kidding. I don't kiss ass. Never have, never will. I just behave myself and keep my mouth shut (for the most part).
