Ha! Take that, anxiety. I called the newspaper guy handsome not once, but twice. Just in case he didn't hear me the first time. Entirely likely with how much I mumble.

It's cute and embarrassing how nervous that made me. Whew.

Vulnerable IRL moment #3: telling the sweetheart construction dude that he made my day the other morning. I have a much easier time being vulnerable and open behind a screen so i'm trying to challenge muself to physically vocalize it more.

Was having a shitty day and he was the first person who asked how I was doing and seemed to actually be interested in my answer and that was really all it took and I told him that.

He lamented about how people can be really rude to service workers and commiserated about that, and now we have a nice genuine connection and its refreshing.
