[A month. It's been a month since she's gotten here. A month and at least a week, actually. Well... yeah, that's true.

It's just... a lot of people here seem really... okay with it. With being on another world. [Or at least she hasn't seen people freaking out about it, or anything.] Even though it's really strange on my own.

That's not always the case. Some people might have adapted. Others prefer not to talk about it, at least not over a public network such as this. Either way, if you want to last in a new, foreign environment, you need to adapt and deal with things you can deal with.

Maybe it's because you are on your own while a lot of other people have friends or family with.

You'll get used to it, I imagine.

Family and friends provide a point of familiarity - it's easier to get your bearings when you have something familiar to hang on to.
