Th-there's a lot of trees all around... though there's a little bit of a clearing to the left... [Um... what else... Where was this person anyway? This journal was... sort of like a walkie talkie, maybe?] Oh, uh, there's... some mountains that way too.

[Zenigata makes his way up along the river, having taken up the mantle of patrolling for new feathers. Only natural for a cop, after all. He's not the most sensitive type, though so he may come off as gruff]

And staring ahead - the river does seem to be growing louder. She squints ahead, and sees maybe a sliver of water in a gap between some trees.] I think so!

[And when she gets to the river proper, she just... kind of stands there... Should she head downstream or just wait here? Probably downstream... Rubbing her arm once awkwardly, she turns and begins to pick her way down the riverbank. She's moving slowly enough though that, whether they're heading towards each other or in the same direction, he should be able to catch up fairly easily.]
