Not dead, stunned
I'm still alive, but my stupid computer is gasping for it's last breath, so I've hardly been using it. Very frustrating, and must be remedied soon.
Let's see-got my car back from the shop finally. The whole car accident episode ended up costing about $16,000. I am glad we had insurance. Daughter still hasn't driven since the accident, but she'll be driving with supervision for a while.
Last week both kids were gone, so we took that opportunity to remodel the small bathroom on our main floor. However, like all projects, it required three unplanned trips to Home Depot, and we're still not done after a week. I'm hoping to finish up most of it today, but I still need to varnish the newly restained cabinet, so that will be another day at least. It's great to be transforming my 1988 house into a more updated style, and who would have thought I could do my own plumbing?
