Happy Friday!
*screams* I just got a pressie in the post from my beloved abigail89! I will enjoy snuggling up with it more than you will ever know, honey, and the only thing that would make it better would be for us to snuggle with it together. My daughter is green, so that's an extra plus! Thank you so much!
In other good news, I baked approximately 10 dozen cookies with my mom and daughter this morning (the annoying ones that you have to cut out, bake, frost and decorate). We managed to not kill each other, so it's all good. Now we will divvy them up among my mom, my sister's family and my family along with the other cookies that all of us bake separately so that we can each have an identical plate of cookies to pass around at every family gathering for the next two weeks. I will also be making more banana bread (to replace what I burned the other day) and another kind of cookies this evening. So yay for overeating!
More good news: Hubby got an answer back from well-known software company and they really want to talk to him, but the hiring person is traveling this week and then is off next week. They set up a time to talk after the 1st. I am encouraged by the fact that they responded so fast to his application thingy. Of course, if he got the position, he'd have to work in far northern suburb, but we'll deal with that if it becomes an issue.
Okay, now it's off to the last piano lesson for the year, and then, more baking!
