Another Monday morning ringing through my head...
So this past weekend wasn't too shabby, with the exception of my internet going down Saturday and not coming up until late last nite. Not cool - especially after it was down for a near week, a few weeks ago. Friday nite I just sat on my ass because I thought maybe Paul would have called up to go somewhere. Saturday I had the day off and piddled around the house and doing some odds and ends. Sunday I had to work understaffed (again)... it wasn't too busy though - that was cool. When I got home from work I slept for 7 hours on the couch, and to my amazement the cable connection was up so I stayed up for a few hours. What really sucked the most was that my Mac would not fucking boot up just minutes after the net went down on Saturday afternoon. I tried everything - no dice. So when I got up at 9:30pm on Sunday when the cable was back on, I searched forums for answers to my problem - still no dice. Eventually, I kept putting an older version OS install disc and it booted up with what I swear was my last try. It needs a reformat really bad anyways and the worse part was that I didn't have any of my stuff backed up... that would have been a heart-breaking disaster. Monday's work was well... the usual Monday's bullshit work. So now I'm home, relaxing, slightly sick and seems to be getting worse. Tommorrow I'm off but I get to do the annual ritual of... visiting the postal office to stamp my IRS tax return payment. Anyhoo, I've got things to backup, sicklings to take care of, and the general my-bullshit-of-a-life-continues-tommorrow... REMEMBER: Backup before you hackup.
