The title pretty much gives it away: 2012 has begun with and promises to bring EXCITING THINGS, and you'll icon your favorites! SHINY NEW EXCITING THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FLAIL OR CRY OR BITE YOUR NAILS IN ANTICIPATION OR ALL OF THEM.
New seasons of old shows are allowed, if you use images of the new season, but a tv season that has begun last year doesn't count. Movies and shows that have already premiered are in - but they must've premiered THIS YEAR. Behind the scenes images, leaks, extras and promos are welcome too. As long as it happens in 2012, it's game. You have a whole weekend day and no excuses not to enter. NOW GO! :D
