Just a few obsessions...

Dec 14, 2006 18:02

All day today, I've been sitting on my computer downloading all sorts of crap. Now, I'm running a scan to make sure that my computer is okay. Of course, while I'm doing this, all these pop-ups are (what else?) popping up, telling me that some Trojan is attacking and all that oh-so-fun stuff.

But since I can't just sit here while my security system scans everything (over 60,000 items) on my computer, I've been going through all my new little obsessions- including Kurt Halsey. I've been downloading a bunch of these pictures. It's already a default on my myspace... now, I figured I better have it on livejournal too! (Thanks A LOT, Chivon!)

Other than Mr. Halsey, I've also been doing a bunch of research on Paul Zerdin and Jeff Dunham- both are comedians/ventriloquists. I found a lot of the clips they have posted on their respected websites quite funny. Not to mention that Mr. Zerdin is a cutie. He has one where he's in a park holding a crying baby. He sits next to a woman on a bench. She's dumbfounded when he starts eating lunch out of the sack that is apparently holding the baby. If you would like to see it, go to the following website: (www.paulzerdin.com/downloads/PAULBABY.MPG). And Mr. Dunham... the clip I find to be the funniest, is the one about Peanut's experience with an interpreter! Absolutely hilarious!!! For that one... here it is!

You almost forget that they're using puppets. I don't care what anyone says. I still think that ventriloquists are cool. How many people really practice that art anymore? To be able to throw your voice around.

So, those are my new obsessions at the moment. Apparently, I can spend some 6 hours looking at one of these three things! Some stuff more than once, of course!

Yes, I know... nothing too serious or meaningful here. But it's just something to share with everyone. Hopefully, possibly get some others behind me to take a look at some of these clips/pictures and possibly feel a connection. Nothing more, nothing less.

Well, time for dinner. I must get going. I do hope everyone is in good spirits and almost (if not entirely) ready for whichever holiday you and yours celebrates! I'll write again soon.
