1: It's kryptonite.

2: It's too bad they couldn't fly, 'cause that would be enough for a fourth movie. Of course, I never saw the third, but it's the principal of the thing.

Also, (for both of you)I made the kids stand up and talk in front of the class today, and one of my students talked about this. I asked him if Superman had come with the meteor.

I don't know about that theory. I mean, kryptonite doesn't make humans sick that quickly (Lex Luthor got cancer from carrying around kryptonite in his pocket every day for years), so I don't know if it could be behind this acute illness.
