1: Ahahaha, there are so many things I could say about Tablo but all of them are kind of horribly embarrassing. Short version: my fangirl crush on him is absolutely pathetic, but more pathetic is that his music is helping shape the way I live my life. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just...well, kind of horribly embarrassing.
2: BJD! I love this hobby so much, because it helps satisfy a ton of creative outlets, but it also costs a lot to keep up with and my money keeps getting diverted towards fandom. (I freely admit that I'd give up all the dollstuffs I have to go see Epik High live and not regret a thing. Me? Owned? NAH.) But it's really fun (when the "debates" don't get out of hand, but I make a point to stay away from them) and it's helped me come across some fabulous artists/photographers who do a lot to inspire me to be more creative myself.
3: I gave up coffee for New Year's, because as much as I love it it kind of makes me ill. Now I pretty much drink nothing but water, tea, and Powerade. Lots and lots of Powerade. I had a friend over once when I ran down to the convience store in my dorm to go get some and she gave me an odd look when I came back with seven bottles of the stuff.
4: I love scarves! I tend to wear them a lot nowadays, but I really like the look of them on other people, too. Especially when they're a really bright spot of color on an otherwise monochromatic outfit. I really want the keyboard one from YesAsia.
5: I have a betta fish. His name is Kaoru (although minbeansmexbeam likes to call him Aki, which is WRONG, thank you very much,) and he's very angry most of the time. I had another who passed last year, and would get more were it not for the fact that technically I'm not supposed to have a fish in the dorms at all. Funny thing is my RAs know about it but they've never actually said anything to me. XD But yeah. Fish are pretty and more low-maitenence than other pets, but just as easy to love if not to play with. ♥ them.
In other news, I actually had fun at Zulu today! I caught a stuffed aardvark who is absolutely adorable (along with some other stuffed animals, because I ALWAYS need more stuffed animals) and actually agreed to having my picture taken for once. *gasp!* It's my new Facebook profile picture now, and I already have a comment from a friend from high school saying "wow, it's Janel in a picture!"
Can you tell I dislike having my picture taken? XD
Now I'm off to go waste time on the internet and maybe do some reading for class.
