Takin' a break for lunch.
Sheetrocking is going okay, now that I have the sheets going in level/plumb.The first one wasn't, because it had to match the damn access door. Later on I'll have to pick up some moulding to make the seam a bit less fucktish, but I'm not driving anywhere else today before I get some righteous sleep.
After the sheetrock is in place comes the taping and mudding, at least the first layer. Then the finagling of getting the remaining detritus out of there, then pulling up the old hellcarpet and the godawful linoleum underneath it.
Crap-- I have to stop by the hardware store to get a muzzy lintel plate. Confound it!
