Earlier tonight while we were shooting some new scenes for Dead Time, I had a monster headache, bordering on a migraine. It wasn't a migraine-- there wasn't the associated sensitivity and nausea-- but it felt more like a really really bad sinus headache or dehydration episode. When my vision started to double, I figured it for a sinus inflammation, and
dramatekcv was kind enough to pimp me some ibuprofen, enough to take the sharp edges off.
When I got home, I took one of my stash of pseudoephedrine horse pills (Claritin-D 24, the magic potion), unloaded the filmmaking paraphernalia from Nookie, stowed it, and proceeded to lay down.
Of course, one of the really nifty things about pseudoephedrine is the wow-I'm-so-awake-now nature of it, so I woke up at 1:30 and haven't been back to sleep since. The headache is gone and I can breathe like an Olympic athlete on steroids, but I can't sleep worth a rat's patoot.
