Culled a couple of bell peppers and a cucumber this morning and brought them to work. A lunchtime jaunt to Wendy's for a side salad, and suddenly I have a very nice salad with fresh peppers and cucumber, and it's quite tasty.
I hadn't looked at the bell pepper plant-- there are quite a few peppers on it now, though they're all still pretty much green. And the jalapeno plant looks to have a good swath as well. So far there's on cucumber still on the small vine, and the big vine is all over the place but with no cukes at all.
Going easy on the foodishness today, but all seems to be going reasonably well. There's still a little of the punched-in-the-gut feeling, but the passle o' weasels that had taken up lodging in my intestines seem to have settled down enough to let my day go on with minimal interruption.
