(no subject)
Well, college is... well, college. Tough, a lot of work. I'm pretty much drowning in my bio class. I feel like I'm in a giant pool of noodles and I'm at the bottom and no matter how hard I try to get to the top the slimy wet noodles give me no substance to be able to get there. If it wasn't for the other 1/2 of the class, the lab, I would be getting D+/C- in the class, luckily I have a 100 in the lab portion so I have like a C+/B-. It's just ridiclous. I'm doing great in all my other clases though. I don't know if it's just Biology, or just the teacher. But so far we've had 2 exams in the class, the first average was a 60%, the second average was a 50%... I mean, that has to say something about the teacher or the way he's teaching things. I don't know, his exams are just impossible. I quote "Everything will be taken off the power points"... No... no they are not, you lie. Maybe the most basic concept is, but on the exam you ask a concept like 45 levels deeper. It's just a joke. I have to go take an exam for Bio in about 25 minutes, yeah, I should be studying, but it doesn't matter what I do, I will fail it. But hey! I made a smart move, I got a tutor today. His name is Will, we'll see what happens with that. Hopefully he is nice and will be able to help me. I've havn't met with him, or even spoken to him yet though. If I can just get a decent grade on the next two exams and pull it up to AT LEAST a B, I'd be thrilled.
Another factor in all this is that I can't sit still or pay attention. When I sit down at my desk to try and study, it feels like there is electricity running through my body, like I just HAVE to get up and go run a lap around the building. I get 2 sentecnes into the paragraph and I'm like "Ahhh! dasdhuiasdiahui!!!!" and I get so frusterated. I have to sit there and look at each word individually, I cant just read because my brain is like "Screw this!" It's extremly frusterating and the harder I try the worse it gets.
I have a new obsession with Kelly Clarkson... woah yeah. What a loser. :)
I can't wait for Christmas. If you're buying me something... wait... if? haha, of course you are! ;).... anyway, if you're buying me something, all I want are DVD's. I can't think of anything else and I love watching movies, I made a list of over 50 DVD's I want... so here they are:
