(no subject)
Went home to mandeville for the weekend. The band played at Strawberry Festival in Ponchetula. It was kinda stupid. Had to write a bassline for our new song. Theres only so much I can do though... thats like the 5th song weve used the same chord progression for. I made up a cool part for the verse though, like an OLP vibe ya heard? We covered "Until the Day I Die" by Story of A Year, or is it Story of the Year? I dunno.
Hung out with M. Placito aka themeparkkid, aka kikkigod.com cause hes in town for Spring Break. I can never get over the fact that he somehow knows more about my frat than I do. Also saw D. Grabarek for the first time in absolutely forever. So we all hung out at StaRbuCks accompanied by E. Fischer and D. Mautz.
Went to Great Wall with Marissa B. earlier tonight. Ok weird note.. we both saved our fortunes from the cookies we got last time we went together. Anyway, my fortune was "Now is the time to persue that love interest!".
This is why I hate fortune cookies.
- Which love interest? What if I have more than one? What if I dont have any?
- How long is NOW? is that like don't pay the bill and run out the door looking for that hot chick ive been crushing on, or do I have another ten minutes before my Fortune expires? Can I wait till the end of the week?
- Heres the big one. Thats not a fortune!!! Thats just some crazy advice from some chinese dude! If it was a fortune it would say something like "The following WILL happen to you in the future: _______" "Your future holds _______"
Regardless, I am using this random occurance as the basis for the script of a ten minute movie which I will be glad to explain upon personal request.
Not to be negative or anything, but my car freakin sucks. It takes me like 3 tries on average to get it to start. I think just today I realized how much that pisses me off. Fix it? no way man! Allready put more money into that thing than its worth. I'd rather just bitch about it.
