Hey girls hey!!!
We miss you! Big news on our front, we are parents now!! I got pregnant through IVF and had a baby girl. 2/214 8:50am after 30 hours of back labor with no epidural or pains meds at all, I was taken in for a C section. She was 6.5lbs 17 3/4 long. She was one of the hardest pregnancies, I never got a really big belly, and we found out why when she was delivered. The placenta was adhered to my uterine wall so she couldn't expand out front. She was all tight and close inside me hanging out all over my organs. Sucker punches to the gallbladder, lol. That sucked! She made me nausea constantly so eating sucked, I only gained 7 lbs. So we figured I lost 25 lbs during the pregnancy. We had to go for iv infusion for Iron and fluids the last 4 months. We had scans at the high risk OB every week so we knew she was growing just fine, even if I was worse for the wear. She wouldn't let me eat Chocolate or BACON!! Pretty much nothing that helps put me in a good mood! No coffee, oh and no sex from 6 months to 8 after 8 only old people sex where I was not aloud to orgasm! I have placenta previa. She never let me walk by a hot dog without eating it! I could be going to Ruth Chris's and if she smelled a hot dog I had to eat it!!
I would tell everyone that being pregnant was like Steven Kings Dream Catcher's! You know the guy who shows up at the cabin with a huge belly rolling up and down gurgling burping, farting and he just flinches and says, "I am SO sorry, I don't know what is wrong with me!" He goes into the bathroom, and there is a bunch of grunting and
Now she is great, the easiest baby ever! I think she heard me telling her she was grounded til she was 18, so now she is sucking up. She took to breastfeeding with no problems, she doesn't cry unless she is hungry. We pretty much have to change her on a timer because she never cries. She slept through the night from the beginning. Six hours and then a boob, and sleep four more. Real easy! She is way ahead on the Standing thing, she looks to be walking before crawling. lol We are in for it. She sleeps through anything. We took her to Florida Preheat this year at 2 months old and she sleep in her swing in the middle of the lounge through all the loud bad Karaoke, singing loudly right over her head and she never wakes. We drag her everywhere and she is so good! People hardly ever know she is there, or they think she is a doll. So many people have asked if she is a doll, or said OMG I thought that is a doll! She is all smiles all the time! She wakes up in the morning and it's big grins, we are changing her and she just giggles and grins at us. Even when she wakes up screaming in the middle of the night, as soon as she makes eye contact with me she gives me the biggest grin and clicks her tongue at me, just the way I do at her. I spend most of the day saying how amazing she is and how lucky we are that she is such a good baby!!
We went in for boys last Tues. Wish us luck! Not looking forward to the sequel to the last pregnancy, but we want boys.
