Thanksgiving weekend = AWESOME

Mya AND Jen were both down here from school simultaneously, so Mike, his best friend Rob, Mya, Jen and myself all tripped down to Berkeley.

We got there and went piece shopping for Mike, then the beautiful ladies and I went and bought awesome hats since it was fucking FREEZING when we got there. Decided to go reminice over a pint at the Plough, and introduce Mike to the place I'd spent so many happy hours in my youth, but alas- it was closed for the holiday.

Blast.

Bad times were not to be had, though, as Mike hadn't ever tried Boba (which he didn't like AT ALL ^_^) and had never eaten at Gypsy's (which he LOVED, though I knew he would.)

I miss my girls so much, but it was great to introduce them to Mike and spend time with them like we used to. (If only Aaron's lazy ass had picked up the phone, it would have REALLY been like old times...)

Also, Mike's mom flew in from Texas and I got to meet and hang out with her, 3 of his aunts and his grandmother, ALL fabulous people. No wonder Mike turned out as amazing as he did. ^_^

But the most awesome thing of all this weekend? Mike gave me an early Christmas present-- GUITAR HERO 3!!!!! <3333333

What's in store for the future?

-Coastal drive from here to Canada and back in January with Mike (TONS of pictures to come, I promise. Check my Flickr site for pics from the SUMHPoD 2007 and for future pics!!!)

-Hopefully reuniting with Josh sometime soon. That's right-- Josh. After The Split, I couldn't really talk to any of "OUR" friends because it was just too hard. But now that we've both moved on, I figured if WE can't be friends, there's still no reason why I shouldn't reconnect with people I WAS friends with, so I did it. I miss Josh very very much, so hopefully Mike and I will be taking a trip down there soon.

-College. I'm ready to go back. Anyone who knows me knows I love learning new things. I've come to a point in my life where everything is on track and I finally have the funds and attention span to work AND study at the same time. Finally.

Shit. :)

Okie dokie....that's all for now.

And in the words of the great James Taylor,

"It's like jelly, baby."
