Broke but Beautiful!

OK, so the final preparations for honors night, graduation, and the WLS Support Group Christmas party are underway... I found some really swanky suits that were fortunatly marked wayyyyy down so I bought them to use for graduation and honors night (and of course the whole impending interview process). Then I bought a gorgeous red dress from my pal Carrie for the Christmas party. And at the very last minute I found this amazing pair of white pinstripe pants, this creamy sparkly shirt and some brassy shoes, all to wear for our annual anniversary dinner. So yeah, I am totally broke now but at least I have something amazing to wear for these special nights coming up and they are all dual purpose... well the red dress is too fancy for much else, but you get the picture. LOL! I am so excited to be able to close the door on this part of my life and move onto my career... excited and terrified that is!

So who can come to my graduation?! Yes, that is right... I am graduating with my B.S. in Public Managment (Professional Studies) and WITH HONORS!!!!! My ceremony is at APSU Main Campus, in Clarksville, at the Dunn Center. It is free and in a large auditorium so you all can sit together, if you let me know how many seats Jim needs to save. It is Friday December 16th, promptly at 2pm. I have to be there at 10am so you won’t see me until after the ceremony. It would mean the world to me if you all came. I know it is asking a lot being that it is during the day on a Friday, but it is a real milestone in my life and I would love my friends & loved ones to be there. Unfortunately, none of my family will be there as originally planned due to financial constraints & scheduling conflicts so it is just me Jim and DJ right now. Please, please, please?! We were thinking of going to eat afterwards, somewhere silly and cheap like Cicis or something like that….lol! Of course with everyone being broke right now, that is still up in the air!

hottastic, apsu, holidays, special moments, wls, you're invited, graduation, party, with honors, money, clothes
