She watches over us!
Oh Man, let me tell you... the higher powers that be certainly watch out over us! Yesterday evening when we were heading out to kinkyjedi's house we were making really good time and moving through traffic fairly well. Then all of a sudden we hit a small patch of traffic, it took me awhile to maneuver us to the head of the pack and we got cruising again. Then we hit a complete standstill at the I-24/440 split. When we finally creeped our way tot he split we found that T-Dot had completely blocked all access to I-24 going in all directions! There was a life flight chopper circling above and everything. It was nuts! After we reached kinkyjedi's house we got a call from Moni & Laurie asking us if we were alright. They saw the news about this huge multi-car pile up involving an overturned semi and multiple injuries and fatalities! OMG! I am so glad we were running a bit late and that we hit that small patch of traffic that I had to fight with or we could have been in that accident! Holy Cow. So today I have a few candles lit for those who were hurt and for the families of those who died in that accident last night. I feel so blessed right now, THANK YOU Lord & Lady for watching over me and my family!.
On a ;ighter note, I had super duper fun at kinkyjedi's house! He made a terrific dinner last night that I just gobbled up! He and Alex have such a beautiful house... I am in a state of awe and a bit of jealousy! LOL! They even have a FROG (Front Room Over Garage).... I LOVE THOSE!!!! Anyways, we had supper and sat around the fire outside and chatted about everything... it was such a relaxing evening. The night flew by so fast that before we knew it, it was 3AM!!! SO Jim and I had to trade of driving home but it was worth it! Thanks Allen! I love you!
