Had a "witchy" day!
Well the day started at o'bright early but I managed to get a bunch of stuff done! My friend, Wendy, and I dropped our kids off at school and then drove to Nashville and chatted about MPN stuff on the way out there. She actually had a wonderful meeting with one of the base chaplains concerning MPN and we had to talk about it since I am the POC coordinator and she's the local POC! Hehehe... nothing like fitting in some work and pleasure in the same trip! We then had lunch @ Cafe Coco with my dear friend Rev. V, Velvet "the Swamp Witch" of New Orleans, and Rollie (her dear friend Roland from the Middle TN area) and we just chatted about everything and then I gave them more of my own donations to go down to NOLA. Afterwards we headed to Magical Journey for some light shopping and then I introduced Wendy to Maggie Moos! YUM! This time I had "Better Batter" with fresh strawberries and walnuts! I am so addicted to that place! Then it was off to base we flew...
After I dropped Wendy off at her son's school I got my local errands done (post office, pick up prescriptions, pick up Jim's uniforms, etc) then I got DJ some Burger King and surprised him by picking him up from school! He was VERY HAPPY that he did not have to walk home from school! So now I am home catching up on MPN stuff, filling out my request to join Officers of Avalon, and getting the house cleaned and set up for my Mabon dinner! I am so excited! I can't wait to spend the evening enjoying some kitchen witchery and a nice meal among friends! Oooohhhh... I get to rearrange my altar into a Mabon one... ohhh.. play time... I love redoing my altar for the holidays! wow... I am off to do that right now! hehehehe....
