OK, so how many people actually get excited about cleaning house?! My house has kinda gone to shit (by my terms, everyone else thinks its clean...LOL) since I have started re-prioritizing things in my life. Well Irene left for Florida and we had nothing planned for the weekend, and we are kind broke, soooo... Jim and I decided to spend the weekend

Goodness it was so sad too.. I know folks were looking as us going, "WTF"? LOL! My ball is so stinking light now! Go figure, I know I could lift more weight when I was fat but I guess my hands were a lot weaker than they are now, my ball feels so light that I almost shot put the thing down the lane! My bowling shoes are boats on me now (11s and I wear a 9 1/2 now) and even my glove does not fit me anymore either. So I had to use this torn up old 12#er from the bowling ally until the fourth game when my poor hand was twitching so I switched back to my measyly 9# ball

At least you broke 100!! The closest I got the other day was 98, LOL. But we had a great time, and I bet you all did too :) I have to try to teach Steve on Thursday, that will be the blind leading the blind I'm afraid!

Be glad you didn't do what I did - got my damn thumb stuck in the ball, and hooked it over TWO LANES OVER....
...AND GOT A STRIKE - IN THE OTHER LANE!!!!
(Of course, I had to be WORKING there at the time, too!!! GODS! I almost never lived THAT one down!!!)

PUCK!!! I see you have a LiveJournal! I friended you BTW... how are you guy?! I miss you and Star so much!

Anyways, that was a funny story. What bowling ally did that happen at? LOL! My hubby go a ball to the crotch at Taylor Lanes back when we were in high school b/c his blonde bimbo girlfriend got a ball to heavy for her and when she made her backswing she let go of the ball and it flew right into Jim's crotch! LOL! He cried on the floor for about 15 minutes before we could get him into a chair! Luckily, it was only 11# but still, it had to hurt!

That happened while I was a porter in a bowling alley in Bakersfield, CA, sometime back. I got SUCH a teasing about that, I can't even TELL you!

I'm doing pretty well - I have to get my foot operated on...evenutally...due to having a case of "turf-toe" - I tore a tendon about 2 years ago, and have damaged my foot more than I thought I did working at OfficeMax, dropping an occasional chair or desk on it! (Yippie!)
I'm dealing with not one but TWO Vet's hospitals, which makes it soooo much fun!!! (NOT!) Oh, well - I'll get through this....

I read where you're going to go back to school?
I FINALLY graduated from Washtenaw Community College in June, and am about to go to EMU and finish up my BS in English, so I can teach!
I'm soooo jazzed - due to all my previous classes, I'm going in as a SENIOR!!!!
Only about 30 credits to go to graduate from THERE! HOT DAMN!!!

I'm not just back in school, I am finished in two weeks! YEAH! I so cannot wait to be done with these last two classes! YEAH! Then I get to walk in December's grad ceremony! Whoot-whoot... with HONORS!!! (That is IF I maintain my GPA in these last two classes!
