Well rested and ready for the big push

Good morning folks! We're currently packing up the car getting ourselves ready for the long last push to Fort Lewis, WA. Last night we decided that it was worth the expense and we booked ourselves a room at the Best Western in Butte, Montana. ("Be-you-t"... not Butt...LOL!) We got ourselves nice hot showers, a great night's sleep, a yummy breakfast and even a few minutes in the hot tub and using the net. YEAHS! Anyways... everyone feels relaxed and ready to make the last long leg of the journey. It will take us about 10 hours (600) miles to get there so this will be a long drive, but I know we can do it since it is the approx. distance from FTCKY to home (MI) and we know we have somewhere to crash when we arrive... so we can go ahead and tire ourselves out.

I can't wait to be able and sit down and transcribe all of these voice posts, post separate memories and thoughts on the trip, as well as some poetry I was inspired to write during our explorations of this nation... Gods we have some beautiful land!!! I am so glad we decided to do this. I can't wait to get to Washington now! We are definitely road tripping whenever we have the time and money... we've got to see more!!!

Anyone up for a trip to the Badlands, Rushmore, and Yellowstone when Jim gets back from Iraq?!?!?! We're gonna board the dogs in WA, leave DJ with his grandparents, and go hiking and climbing... white water rafting.... and everything... OMG! Plans, plans, plans...

Oh and wait until you see some of the pictures we took! I have filled my flashcard already and had to delete pix to make room for others... hehehehe.....

moving, camping, pcs, travel, military life, just us
