Oh Joy...
So the results are in...
I had to go back into BACH and get more testing and an ultrasound. The doc I was assigned to this afternoon had a long talk with the radiologist and together they determined that I have three cysts on my right ovary (2mm, 4 1/2 mm, and an 8mm). The largest one is to the back and appears as if it is going to detach itself soon, as a result it most likely got tangled up in my fallopian tube causing the pain I was experiencing.
So what now? Go to Fort Lewis. BACH is so backed up with OBGYN stuff that even with STAT status it will be 2 1/2 weeks before they can get to me. So my best bet is just to get myself to Madigan Army Medical Center (one of the BEST military hospitals in the world) and seek immediate treatment. They also want me to consult an oncologist to be on the safe side. Sooooo... I am taking Loratab for the pain as needed (not when I am driving obviously) and working my way to Ft. Lewis.
We're packing up the cars tonight, picking up the dogs in the morning, and heading out. Wish us luck!
