Our group project in "Terrorism Prevention" is FINISHED! And I rawk... cuz I pegged the target from the begining, and several other "connections" that know one else though of! Of course I also suck since I didn't push my ideas hard enough so all three teams strayed off on a different tangent. Ironically enough, the tangent we ran off on was not far off it's mark and could have caught the bad guys by luck. However the target we ended up identifying could still be viable b/c we learned tonight that in our scenerio there is a possible second terrorist group, whom had great cababilities than the one we were supposed to be chasing! OYE!

THANK THE GODS IT IS OVER! I know this all sounds like jibberish to you readers...

Trust me when I say that I was beyond frusterated with the nature of this project, however we found out today that Carter specifically created the project that way. He wanted us to be "disjunt" or something like that... basically he wanted us to feel like the answer was all around us but not quite within reach. Apparently, studies show that it is one of the best environments for adults to learn things. *slaps forhead*

EDIT: Thanks Carter! " . . . and it's "disjuncture" . . . the optimal "zone" in which adults learn -- when time seems to stop . . .when our biographical repertoire is no longer sufficient to cope automatically with our situation . . . Where we have a tension with our environment.

. . . when the student or the teacher cannot take the situation for granted, then a potential learning opportunity occurs. I have called these situations disjuncture, when biography and experience are not in harmony with each other - when individuals do not have the knowledge, or the skill, or both to take their situation for granted. Disjuncture - knowing that we do not know - is fundamental to our understanding learning. By contrast, individuals often act almost instinctively, or tacitly."

Now I can focus on my two finals and one paper, all of which are due Sunday by midnight! EEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!!!
