They are packed, sealed, marked, and ready to go to storage. Yup, took advantage of DJ being home today (I was too sick to venture out in the turrential downpour this morning... bad mommy, I know) so once I felt a tad better (translation: I could drag my ass out of bed and eat something) he and I went into his room and packed up most of his books, all of his Star Wars, all the Godzilla, his puppets, his Megablocks dragons, and his transformers. So seven large boxes down. Whoot-whoot. Which also means his room will be cleaner. LOL! We cleaned as we packed and he says we need to tape his legos shut so the kids don't make a mess of those too. He says he doesn't want to leave any legos behind. BAH!
Been looking for homes inthe Tachoma/Olympia markets since last night. Found some prospects, but the though of spending $200 - 250 K on our first home is just frieghtening! Another unfortunate fact is that most of the homes in our range are freaking manufactured homes, and we are NOT doing that. OYE! I hope we find something nice. I still need a job to be able to afford a nice home though. This is so scary...moving somewhere I have never lived before not knowing where we are going to live. eek!
