1. What’s the most excruciating physical pain you’ve ever experienced?
Hmmm... that one is hard... I would say that as far as physical pain goes labor ranks up there but I had the benefit of good drugs.... so.... I'd have to say number one was when I torn the meniscus and ACL in my right knee. Yup, that is probably it. The HS quarterback, who was running to class b/c the second bell had rung and he was late for the umpteenth time that week, sacked me. I came out of my classroom to use the rest room and got hit full force by him. I spun around while my feet stayed planted (hey I was a shot-put and discus thrower I knew how to plant me feet good)! When I fell back onto the tiled floor I hit my head and lost consciousness. When I came to everyone was yammering at me but all I could feel was the searing pain in my knee. The paramedics were worried more about my head and scooped me up and took me to the hospital, I was admitted and everything but NO ONE cared that my knee was the size of the freaking Goodyear Blimp! I was in so much pain but they could not give me anything b/c of the concussion! THAT SUCKED BAD!

2. Are you afraid of needles?
Nope, if I was I certainly would not have all this ink work! LOL! I get allergy shots in both arms, twice a week too! So that would really suck if I was afraid of needles!

3. How do you remove a band-aid? Peel it slowly or rip it off quick?
Depends on the injury. If I am afraid of the scab being stuck to the dressing then I peel it slowly to peek and make sure it will not rip off the scab/clot. (I soak it off, if the injury is stuck to it.) Otherwise I just rip it off.

4. Have you ever broken a bone?
Nope, only torn ligaments and tendons!

5. Do you believe in the “no pain, no gain” theory of fitness? Explain.
Yes and no. Pain--- that is NOT good. Discomfort, sweat, sore or fatigued muscles... good! I believe that if you are going to spend the time working out then you had better make it worth the effort. You have got to give 110% or you might as well not waste your time. The point is to build muscle and gain endurance, you have to do that through dedication and hard work!
