I have not updated... I did not finish story telling about Savannah... shoot I have not even memed in a long time... I am sorry. Life these days revolves around one thing it seems and that is homework. I honestly spend every waking minute with my nose in a book. This term by far, has been the hardest I have EVER done! Which is good, I need the challenge. However, I have not found that peaceful balance yet. I will, it just might take me another week! BAH!
Had a great time at the Nighteyes birthday party... board games and DVD games rocked... the BEST red velvet cake EVAR (got Rene)... and well... I will leave the party summary to the others who were there! LOL!
Been super tired as of late, can't sleep or focus on anything but my classes... not sure if it is just because I am anal about my grades or do I have a TRUE interest in this terrorism stuff? Never had the heart or the interest in politics or world events before but now it seems that I cannot get enough of it... information that is. It is all so new to me... I am doing side research like a champ trying to make sense of it all... hmmm... I have REALLY taken a shine to cyber terrorism. I wonder if that is a route, I should pursue? hmmmm.....
Anyways, gonna puppy sit Emily's doggies this week. That should be fun. I love the little ggrrrrr... he is so funny! LOL!
Missing my family and friends, a lot lately... do not know why.
SUPER EXCITED about my 1 year surgiversary tattoo coming up. My favorite artist is leaving the great state of Kentucky very soon so I have to get in my precious "transformation" tattoo before he leaves. So I stopped in to the Dancing Dragon and spoke with Matt, told him what I want and what it will represent for me... he bounced some ideas off of me and asked me to give him some time to work up the piece. I am SOOOOOOO excited about it that I can barely contain myself! It is going to be a Japanese inspired Phoenix that will cover my back of my shoulder and its tail will wrap up over my shoulder to the front of my chest. At least that is the plan. I cannot wait to see his sketch; the man does AMAZING original art! And it helps that his wife is Pagan so she can help him to bring in the pagan imagery that I want in my tatts! He did the triple moon one on my right ankle and I am so happy with it so I cannot wait to see what he comes up with for this one! YEAH! The big day will be Monday the 6th (two days after my birthday) so this is my birthday prezzie from my hubby! ;-) He is such an understanding man! I just wish he were going to be here to hold my hand for the 5-6 hours it is going to take! Alas, the Army is sending him away for two weeks so he will miss it by one day! Grrr.... gonna stop by his office and get a shot in the booty though... gonna get a good anti-inflammatory before hand since I can't take those kinds of meds orally (with the WLS and all). It is not that I am a wimp by any means but the thought of being inked for THAT long with my extreme lack of body fat just makes me a bit nervous! I don't want to be jumping through the whole thing, you know what I mean?! I have the BONEY-EST shoulders these days, seriously! LOL!
Anyways, Jim found out from branch that the only place they have open for E6 medics right now is Egypt, Korea, or Ft. Hood.... BULLSHIT! There is NO WAY that an MOS that is on a SHORTAGE could only have opening at three posts! UGH! Thankfully, since Mac has been in the same unit for over a decade, he has friends in "high places" so to speak. So he has made some calls and some folks are pulling some strings so hopefully we will know more very soon... OYE! But the up side is that if we get the station that we want, not only will we know one family there already, we might know two... that is if the "Rabbit family" get's stationed there as well! BAH! LOL!
Whelp... I must go and watch 100 Years of Terror before my son get's home today! Jim and DJ have karate belt testing tomorrow... yeah!
