Least favorite part of the holidays....
Longing for the times when it was about family, sharing, cooking, etc......
Stood in long return lines cuz the MIL bought clothes wayyyyy to freaking big for the grandson she never sees.......
Everyone too poor to gift this year.... thank the Gods, so for once it was about spending time with each other instead of what we got! YEAH!
SUPER SUPRISED THAT I GOT ANYTHING AND VERY THANKFUL!!!!
Son bought me the new Will Smith CD & another Kodo CD. Mom & Dad got me a nice fleece shirt from Old Navy, Aunt gave me Boarders GC (bought a Law Enforcement test prep book and my 2006 witch calendar), Kiki got me a new workout bra (and we are spending the day together going to pagany shops on thursday), and Dana's broke so she called off work to spend a day with me instead! Oh yeah... and my girlz Kathleeen and Jannette sent us our annual McD's bucks and I got all sorts of yule ornaments (we've already discussed the fam tradition on another post) and a shot glass from D.C. from my traveling aunt!
The inlaws typically gift us Wal-mart cards so I am hoping we get that. Although I am gonna let hubby spend mine too so that he can afford to get this nifty breakfast snadwhich maker for his office! He is super excited about it and since it is on the steep side I'll give up my half of the GC!
Well I am off to do more returns, I ran from Khols screaming when I saw the returns line yesterday, hopefully today is better!
