My Sundays are becoming quite routine...
Ever since RebelPrivateer discovered that littlemamabunny & her hubby used to RPG, our Sundays have become religious; but not in a spiritual sense of course. (Unless you count "the Force" or Elven Spell working as religious...lol!) Yup, that is right... we're gaming geeks! And darn proud of it! For the last few months we've been gaming with each other every weekend. We switch off between Star Wars RPG (6D system) and D&D (Wendy rules) so that we don't get burnt out on one game. At first both Wendy and I were a bit apprehensive... the guys were all for playing but they needed extra players so they begged us to play. We knew that we were already tied up in other stuff. So I basically agreed to play hoping to play only long enough to find other players to replace us. Before too long the lure of RPG games of our past bit us in the rear and now Wendy & I have both spent money on our own characters, dice, etc.... LOL! Darn those men, they just knew if they got a couple of games in us, we'd be hooked! Dang it! LOL! Anyways, to keep things fair we switch off houses, and turns to cook dinner, between the two families. The boys (her two and my one) usually play nicely in some part of the house and leave us to our vices with an exception to an occasional, "Mom I'm hungry!" or "He hit me!" This weekend was no exception to the last few... except this time they hosted and I cooked! YEAH! We had taco salad and it was soooo yummy! Anyways, we gamed for a long time, had tons of laughs, and basically had a pretty fulfilling night. Matter of fact, I was so jazzed I hoped right online to buy a miniature for my D&D character (a Half-Elf Cleric/Fire-Mage named Shaak-Ti Fyare) and an extra set of poly-dice (since I did need an extra D6, D20, & D4 a few times tonight, that I had to borrow from hubby)! While I was shopping online we did find Jim his own miniature for his High-Elf Fighter/Theif/Mage and a poly-dice set to match a set of black and red D6 that I had bought him a few weeks ago. I also found a really HOT swordswoman minature and another set of dice that I liked, so I bought those too.... maybe I will play two characters?! I am just glad I found this one website and got a GREAT deal on the stuff we got! If I would have bought the stuff from our local shop it was have cost me $60 but it barely cost me half that including the shipping! YEAH!
Anyways, since I am on a total high from playing tonight.... yes I did good... and I was feeling a bit creative, I decided to make a few RPG avatars! While shopping for new dice, I realized how beautiful some of them are, so all the avatars I made tonight have dice in them! Enjoy! If you take one, let me know which one!
The last two are almost identical, they just have different dice featured in the middle!
Welp, I have had a LONG day and I have tons to do tomrrow, so I am off to bed. Hopefully I won't be dreaming of elves, giant cats, and zombies! LOL!
