Um, yeah, so all day, Carlton's worked fine, miraculously. I'm not even sure how he managed it. I, of course, was overjoyed, and I downloaded a ton of fanmixes (which will probably go on Pandora) to listen to while reading because I feel like having a reading day sometime soon. And so of course I get into Bones downstairs, and Supernatural's on right after, and I want to play Sims because I haven't played in over a month, and Sims 3 came out, and I'm going through withdrawal (sad, I know).
BAD IDEA.
I can't get Carlton to stay charged again, like he'd been doing all day. I don't know if it's the angle of the connection or what, but it's just not working. We're back to "charging" but not. And here I am, bursting into tears because I really don't want to end up paying $500, but I need my fucking laptop back to being functional, and this just doesn't cut it. GOD. WHY.
Fuck, maybe I should just get a desktop. It'd be easier to upgrade if need be, likely cheaper, and while I lose portability, I gain reliability in the power department.
