Magic Newbie in Seattle?

Hi, I'm brand new to magic, but I'm hoping to learn a little bit. At this point, I barely know enough about it to know what I'm interested in. At any rate, do any of you know any good resources in the Seattle area? Magic shops, people who might be interested in teaching me some basic stuff, local performers to go see, etc? Try to stick to theory and techniques, not gimmicks.
Card College by Giobbi is a good place to start. Its five volumes, but I would suggest buying volume one and working through it from beginning to end. Also, try to do some research. I'll give you one more title to show you the rabbit hole (its up to you to commit to going into it): The Expert at the Card Table by Erdnase.

I agree as well, Card COllege is bloody briliant. Its where I started and can't reccomend it enough.
