destroy philips screw heads
It is rare that i try to unscrew a philips headed screw without stripping the damn head and leaving it stuck there. Or stripping the damn head when i try to manually use a screw driver to assemble something.
fire alarm mounting brackets, eye glasses, handles, computer battery compartments, tool shed walls, common appliances.
Granted, i might lack some fundamental finesse every other person on the planet possesses. or the manufacturers are using flimsier plastic or metal in their screws.
Just the same, most products would would be easier to maintain with flat slotted screw heads.
It is for this reason i can only conclude...that nearly every free market private sector manager or executive in charge of choosing which screws to use for common consumer goods....is a total dick! they should be flipping burgers for minimum wage.
