Character name: William "Billy" Kaplan(Goes by Wiccan as his Alias)
Fandom: Marvel Comics/Young Avengers
Timeline: Right at the beginning of Avengers: Children Crusade. Right after he loses control of his powers and puts a bunch of terrorists in comatose.
Age: 16
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: Magical abilities indeed. Billy is a witch(he goes by witch as warlock means oath breaker and he doesn't like that) with probably limitless powers. As in, he doesn't even know the full potential of his own abilities. He can cast spells that he wills himself to do, although he has to chant these out loud and over and over again to get them to work usually. He can fly and teleport. He can also manipulate energy to form solid constructs such as disks and force fields.
Billy also has electrokinesis, photokinesis, and pyrokinesis
How would they use their abilities?:
He tends to try and avoid abusing his powers, or at least using them without harming others unless in combat. Billy can cause a lot of destruction if he loses control, but he usually does not. It's very rare that Billy will lose control and he'd never try killing anyone if he can avoid it.
He would however, change whatever room he's staying in to make it much better/more comfortable. Stupid brat and his magic doesn't need a high class room, he can make one himself.
Appearance:
Billy kind of looks like you're average teeanger. Usually. He has messy, short, black hair along with hazel brown eyes. His complexion is kind of pale, but not sickly pale. He's healthy looking and he's an average height for his age. Beneath his usually baggy civillian clothes, he has a fit body, having very nicely shaped legs especially.
When in uniform, he wears a full body spandex suit, which covers part of his head too and has a metal band that goes over the forehead part of his suit. There's also intricate designs on the sides of his suit and it is short sleeved. He wears fingerless gloves over his hands with metal guards attached to them that fit around his arms. He wears boots that fit tightly and blend together with his suit and a long red cape/scarf that is tattered and scalloped at the ends.
Background/Personality: Billy comes from a family of Reform Jews. His father is a cardiologist and his mother is a psychologist. He is the eldest of three sons, and comes from a loving family who are pretty well off. His mother, being a psychologist, has probably tried to diagnose him with different things, or so he likes to say and is one of his reasons to why he's how he is.
When Billy was growing up as a kid, he was always picked on and bullied. He was a typical nerdy boy picked on the typical big boy bully.
However, there was more to why he was bullied. Billy had realized and accepted early on that he was gay, and that he liked other boys, which lead to him being bullied even more really.
It's one time that he was sitting in front of the Avenger's Mansion that he met the Scarlet Witch, who was his favorite Avengers of all time, and was told by her that he could protect himself instead of letting these bullies beat him up. She encouraged him to stand his ground. He took her advice and stood up against his bully, John Kesler. It's then that his powers emerged for the first time. The downside was that he wasn't able to control them and nearly killed Kesler.
This makes him very shy and introverted when meeting new people or talking to strangers. To add to that, he's only came to terms that he has powers and his sexual orientation for a few years, he's extremely insecure with himself. He does have a bit of a "I-told-you-so" part to him though.
He has a tendency to worry to things, especially to detail, almost to a slight fault.
Wanting to control his powers better, he seeked out the Scarlet Witch, only to find that the Avengers have disbanded. But he then meet Iron Lad, who said that Billy was part of a failsafe program to make sure there was always an active roster for the Avengers. He joins the Young Avengers along with Iron Lad and Hulkling. At some point, him and Hulkling start dating. During this time he goes by the name Asguardian but later changes to Wiccan.
While trying to tell his parents he's a Young Avenger, his parents misinterpret it as him trying to come out of the closet. THe upside was that they accepted Billy for being homosexual and even consider Teddy a perfect son-in-law. They kind of freak out when they find out that both have superpowers.
During the Civil War, the Young Avengers help out the Runaways trying to escape the government, but is captured along with Hulkling, Karolina, and Xavin when they run into Noh-Varr. Here it's found out that Billy can not successfully use his magic if he can not hear himself while repeating his spell.
At the end of the Civil War, Billy and Tommy (known as Speed) go looking for the Scarlet Witch. They find out the reason why they look almost identical minus the hair and eye colors, is that they might be the reincarnation of the souls of the dead twins that the Scarlet Witch had lost. They refer to her as mom, as they are sure that it isn't coincidental that they have the powers of her and her brother, Pietro. They encounter Master Pandemonium, who recognizes Billy's powers to be the same as the Scarlet Witch's and tells them about their history as her children. Pandemonium tells the two to embrace what they have now and they both eventually call off their search for the Scarlet Witch, satisfied with their lives as is.
[There's more that goes on between here, but it isn't too important to note or explain other then you're reminded Billy is very much gay.]
Billy wants to resume his search for the Scarlet Witch when he accidentally loses control of his powers when a group from the Sons of the Serpent threaten to hurt Teddy(Hulkling). [This is where I'll be taking him from.]

My name is Willia- No this is stupid. Why am I never good at this narrating thing? Okay, guys this is Billy Kaplan. Billy Kaplan as in Wiccan from the Young Avengers. Why am I telling you this, I'm not. It's a reminder to myself of what I was.
Was as in, there is no Young Avengers. There's no Avengers. There's not even an Earth anymore. I don't know what happened to it. Did the Scarlet Witch destroy it? I didn't even get to find out about her. About me. Or maybe...did I destroy it? Did I lose that much control of my own powers because some terrorist aimed and threatened to shoot my boyfriend?
Way to go Billy, you are a grade a superhero.
I guess I should look into where I am though. And maybe, just maybe anyone else I know is alive.
Damn it Teddy, if you're an awesome boyfriend, you'll come here and use awesome boyfriend powers because I need it.

He wondered sometimes if he was actually a prisoner more then anything. Would this be like the time he was captured by the Warden? Would they do weird, horrible experiments, nail things through his ears so he can't hear himself, keep him locked up?
Hopefully not. And hopefully they didn't mind that he changed his room to suit himself. The chocolate on the pillow was just an extra he couldn't help adding. Not that he ate it. He didn't have much an appetite since he's arrived on this ship. Could you blame him? Knowing your home is gone along with everyone you cared and didn't care for. It's hard on a sixteen year old, even with super powers.
"Maybe I can bring it back...?" Billy's powers were limitless right? He could bring Earth back right? But could he bring an entire world back? With people he's never seen or met, or to make everything just as it was before it apparently disappeared. And did he have the will and determination to even attempt this. "Who am I kidding?" He fell back onto the bed, curling up as he stared at the wall adjacent to him.
He missed them. His parents, his annoying but lovable brothers, Cassie and her strange ditzy moments, Eli being the stubborn ass he is, Vision saying things no one understands, Kate dealing with them all, and Teddy. He missed Teddy being there for him.
He rolled off the bed and got to his feet. He might as well start looking around where he was and get a feel for this place. Billy wasn't going to just lie around and wallow over something that's gone and passed.
And with luck, he'd be able to do something to somehow bring Earth back.
He smiled. That's right. He's not just Billy Kaplan. He was Wiccan.
"God they'd kill me for taking this long to get over things." They wouldn't, but he laughed anyways as he headed out of his room.
