So, I totally finished Avatar today. The finale was EPIC. Though I kinda wish they hadn't left that enormous cliffhanger with Zuko.
On another note...is it...wrong that I have no idea what to ship? Delving into the fandom, it seems like the ships are pretty intense, and considering the ship-play the writers created with the series...I'm not surprised. Frankly, anything could happen.
The major delve I see is between Katara, Aang, and Zuko. Most people within the fandom either ship Kataang or Zutara, though there's some that pair him up with Mai or Toph (except Toph and Zuko I don't understand...at all). Actually, I feel rather confused in who to ship, because Kataang is too cute and frankly Aang deserves to win the heart of his love interest, Zutara is just...awesome wangst, and Maiko is pretty interesting as well. I guess the only ship I'm certain about is Sakka/Suki.
Also, if anybody has fanfic recommendations, throw me 'em. Any pairing, really, besides...oh, Toph/Zuko, Toph/Sakka, or any femmeslash. Hell, I'll read Azula/Zuko or Aang/Zuko.
