DYING AT HOGWARTS

Should your character die for any reason (let's face it, Hogwarts isn't infallibly safe at times!) three stages will be activated:
1. BODY REMOVAL
● Your character dies! Whoops. Where they are and however much is left of the corpse, it will automatically vanish like smoke within 7 minutes to re-appear in the Infirmary under the care of Madam Pomfrey.
● For 24 hours the body will remain cold and lifeless, no matter what.
2. SEVEN-DAY RESURRECTION
● After the first day of death is complete, the body will return to life and begin to heal.
● However badly it is injured, it will always be returned to 50% by the time 7 days have passed and be healthy enough to leave the Hospital Wing.
● Memories of events immediately prior to death may prove difficult to grasp during this period, but eventually return.
3. FAULTY MAGIC
● One of your character's most prominent magical skills will have been reduced to starter-level ability. You will be forced to re-learn everything in 1 subject (eg, Transfiguration, Potions) from scratch.
● The loss of animagi abilities is acceptable in lieu of a magical subject.
