[ So, Hong Kong's made a few appearances around the school and via the commuter to talk to people, but he has yet to address everyone at once. Why? Probably because he was too lazy, but he'll tell you it's because he hasn't had anything important to say. Now, apparently, he has something important to say. ]

So, who's trying out for Quidditch?

What is Quidditch? I've heard the word and I understand its some kind of game, but I do not understand how its played.

Yeah, it's the main sport they play here, I guess. I'm not the best person to ask for an explanation of the rules- there might be something helpful in the library.

[The Unicorn shook her head slightly. She didn't really care about sports, nor did she want any sort of in-depth explanation on the rules of a game she'd never heard of.]

I thank you, but I am not much interested in human games. I merely wondered about why it seemed so popular.

Probably the competition. And it's the only sport played here, I guess.

I see. yes, I remember now, how much humans are fond of their sports, though where I come from, the sport they seem most obsessed with his hunting. Or war I suppose . . .

I think we've got enough of that outside the school, yeah?

[She gave the man a curious look. She had no idea what might or might not have been going on outside of Hogwarts, and while wars were somewhat commonplace back in her home world, there weren't any currently raging near her forest.]

What do you mean?

[fragrancy]

No one told you? [ Well, he has no idea whether she's a student or not, actually. Though, assuming she's here and not a student, she'd be a teacher, right? And they'd definitely know. ] I guess that's why we're here. They're fighting a war and we're here to help.

[learnedregret]

[The man's information is really quite distressing. She threw up her head with a whinny of fear.]

A war? A war!? I'm here to fight in a war? I refuse! I am not a knight! I am not a king, nor a wizard either! I am a Unicorn! I am not a creature of battles and death! I refuse to fight in a war of human making! I won't! I won't!

[ That reaction wasn't quite the one he was expecting. ]

Well, I'm sure you could talk to the Headmaster and explain that. But if not, then I know an army needs people who can heal just as much as it needs soldiers.

[The Unicorn really wasn't in the mood to listen. With another whinny, this one of anger, she reared up. She looked ready to run off, most likely leaving her device on and just laying on the ground.]

I want nothing to do with you humans and your pointless wars! I believed I was brought here to learn protection for my forest, not to act as some blood-soaked healer on the field of human battle! I will not do it! I will not!

I don't think anyone can force you. [ He doesn't know that for certain, of course. ]

[She shook her mane with another whinny of anger. She wanted to run, run away home and never leave her precious forest again. It wasn't like the last time she left, then the quest had been worth it, but to be thrown into a purely-human war . . . She couldn't! She wouldn't!]

I won't! I will not fight in a war for humans!

[fragrancy]

Whoa, hey there. If you don't want to fight, no one can force you. Right?

[Unfortunately for the man, the Unicorn was beyond words, torn between fear and anger. She was prancing, unsure whether to run into the Forest or toward the castle in an attempt to find someone to question, and with her concentration broken, her Commuter had dropped to the ground, showing not much more that a slice of tree branches. Her hooves thudded close to the device, though they didn't trample it. Normally she was a very calm and collected beast, but she couldn't forget fighting the Red Bull, and seeing Lir fall over and over again, and it was those memories that were driving her now.]

[ He doesn't really have any way of stopping her and he's not entirely certain she'll be willing to listen any longer, so for now he's going to remain silent. ]
